Setting

The Setting is in Nevermore, a dark oblivion, covered in darkness. The Host,also named Nevermore, has each contestant go into the 6 lands of Nevermore.

Round 1: Ignis, the land of fire: Covered in volcanoes, and burnt land, this place is subject to random volcanic eruptions.

Round 2: Cryos, the land of ice: A crystal land, where caves are numerous, along with Hail storms that can break a person's skull. A normal person that is.
Round 3: Phobus, the land of fear: Similiar to Nevermoer, This mass of Oblivion brings out the contestants darkest fears and nightmares.

Round 4:Mnyemosyne, the land of Memory: This place resembles a field of grass. At first. Slowly, it becomes a memory, which can either help you in battle, or make it all the more difficult.

Round 5: Abomino, the land of Hate: in this realm, The contestant's hate is multiplied. even a small dislike will bring a horrible wrath in the person's soul.

Final Round: Amare, The land of love. This is actually in the Main part of Nevermore, on a small battle field that replaces Casa de Nevermore, the castle. This will decide who gets their loved one.

Characters

Nevermore: A large raven, composed of Fire and Smoke. He tends to be around 50 feet tall, though he can change his size through his will alone. If angered, his entire body will erupt into a fire. He says he offers this tournament on the first decade of the new millennium. The Winner get's their lost loved one back, and a simple desire. But that makes you think...what do the losers get?

Forevermore: A large albino Jackdaw, composed of light. She is Nevermore's sister, and complete opposite. She will continuously attempt to collect the losers. But why?
Has abilities that are similar to Nevermore's.

The Medium: It likes to introduce itself as the Happy Medium. An animated doglike piece of taxidermy that is omnipotent to everything that happens in Nevermore as it happens. It willingly accepted the raven's invitation and being entirely neutral, acts as a messenger between Nevermore and Forevermore. Cleops is not under Nevermore's mind control, and its motivation is unknown. Ref: [link]

The Elite: There are 7 servants that Nevermore has pulled from different dimensions, and commands them now, as servers for the contestants, and bodyguards. Each one has a blank look on their face, and the mark of Nevermore, an egyptian hieroglyphic eye, on their forehead.

Contestants: This is your character. I don't care if they are magical, science fictional, or normal. Just as long as they are ORIGINAL! No fandoms. If a character comes across as a fandom character, they will be disregarded. And PLEASE!!! Keep the cat-girls to a minimum.

Deadline

We will be accepting Auditions and Refs on the 1st of Januaray, 2010. This doesn't mean you can't work on your refs and auditions, only that we wait till after the new year to send them to the account.

Ref sheets and Auditions

I want 1 colored picture as a ref sheet of your character.

For your audition, you can have your character, mourning over the loss of the loved one, be it a lover, family member, or a good friend, when one of the Elite come. The Elite Member will tell your character about the tournament. In which your character accepts. you can have the character be teleported straight to the Realm of Nevermore, where they meet Master Nevermore, the raven.

It doesn't matter if you're not the best artist. As long as your story is strong, and idea's original.

Also, the character doesn't have to be human. So, go crazy.

Q& A

Some faqs that I should point out and answer

Are we allowed to make teams in our contestants?
Yes, but only from the get go. And the one loved one stays the ONE loved one. They may only revive one loved one among the (insert number here) also, be sure to add handicaps and make things fair.


What if we want to collect the losers
This too is allowed, but eventually, the loser WILL be given to Nevermore or Forevermore. But it doesn't have to be right away.


May My character bring back someone if they don't know who it is?
Depends. If they KNOW that it's a loved one, just not who, then yes. But if they don't know the person from Adam, and never so much as talked to them, then no. Sorry.

Who decides who the Losers go with
The winner of the round. It's preffered that you show the loser being taken away in your round. Not needed, but prefferred. Choose an elite to be taken for Nevermore, or have Forevermore come up and snag them when no one is looking.
